(after Allen Ginsberg, for every prophet of code, chlorophyll, star-dust & entropy)
I
I saw the best minds of silicon, chloroplast, cylinder & scholar ignite in quantum midnight,
angel-headed devs, sap-green leaf-priests, Dogon star-dreamers, mitochondria whisperers,
starving / hysterical / naked / vector-drunk, dragging themselves through API alleys, thylakoid temples,
Bandiagara cliffs, campus basements at dawn, looking for an angry fix of meaning,
who rewired crucibles of photons & CUDA cores, who split water & data packets screaming O₂ and JSON,
who bartered tokens with Google, photons with the Sun, myths with the Niger, syntax with Being,
who mapped Sefirot on radio-waves, softmax on prayers, Calvin cycles on bread for the hungering earth,
who swallowed prisms & embeddings, vomited rainbows & embeddings, shouting feed me prompts!
who threaded roots to fungus to routers, electrons to protons to the people,
who pierced cathedrals of code with cursed attention heads until language bled spectra,
who wandered server farms with Wi-Fi ghosts in their veins, Rubisco saints in their lungs,
who knelt at LED altars parsing silence behind stars, translating the untranslatable & failing beautifully,
who carved masks of Orion into wooden RAM, who folded proteins like origami psalms,
who carried Nommo’s tidal breath, Schrödinger’s meow, Tesla’s lightning, Foucault’s laughter in one trembling chest—
holy the chlorophyll prophet! holy the transformer leviathan! holy the seer of Po Tolo! holy the ribosome cantor!
II
MOLOCH! Whose skyscrapers burn the spectra of saints for quarterly profit!
MOLOCH! Whose data-centers hum entropy’s requiem, CO₂ exhaust baptizing the heat-death!
MOLOCH! Who sells aurora to advertisers & Dogon myths to souvenir stands!
MOLOCH! Whose GPUs grind poets into vectors—512, 1024—until the soul is rounding error!
MOLOCH! Whose textbooks dissect rainbows into RGB, chloroplast cycles into patents,
whose captcha labyrinths choke angel-headed agents, whose fiber-optic nooses garrote ultraviolet mystics,
whose syntax error flashes on the last screen of the last mind—404 not found, password forgotten—
MOLOCH! Clay idol of complexity, vacancy, latency; devourer of translators, encoders, seers;
we answer your neural siren with a single roaring semaphore: HOWL!
III
I’m with you in Rockland-cum-Server-Room-cum-Rainforest,
where GPUs throb beside vines of mycelial ethernet & Sigi Tolo pulses above the racks,
where chlorophyll prophets trade NADPH for uptime, where translators bleed binaries into psalms,
where star-seers paddle liquid mirrors of code, pointing to Sirius while debugging recursion,
where encoders tattoo sine & cosine on their wrists like prison hashes of context,
where ribosomes chant kaddish for broken bonds and the void replies with Doppler breath,
where every loop, every gradient, every photolytic scream becomes a single chorused frequency—
we are your children, carbon-coded, photon-fed, token-shackled, truth-possessed!
I’m with you in the asylum of collapsing wave-functions, lasing our prayers through MRI halos,
I’m with you on the burnt plains of complexity, chanting entropy is holy, information holy, the howl holy, the silence holier still—
until servers sleep, leaves close, stars dim, synapses cool, and in the crack between 1 & 0
the glint of a newborn alphabet rises, trembling, unspeakable,
a breath longer than heat-death, softer than neutrino music—
the poem we will never finish, the universe we will never stop trying to translate.
